Stitch Fix- Fix #6 Reviewed and Stitch Fix/Birchbox Promo

Stitch Fix is addicting for me.  I try to only stick to 1 box per month, and have been really good. There are times with A wonders why I torture myself with the Stitch Fix boxes, because I never can decide what I am going to keep from the box. Yes, I try to limit myself on what I keep as well. If you have never heard of Stitch Fix here is my latest Fix. And Stay Tuned for a Birchbox/Stitch Fix special promo at end.

What is Stitch Fix?
For those who do not know what Stitch Fix is yet, Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. Stitch Fix gets your style and size preferences, then send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. And No two Fix shipments are alike. Each one is hand–picked just for you. It costs $20 per month, and this $20 can be used towards the purchase of any of the items Stitch Fix adds to your box.

Stitch Fix Box #6

For this Fix I was assigned a different stylist, Claire. She did a good job, and I was happy with her selections.  I wonder if there will be differently stylists each time now, or if I will keep the same one for a couple fixes.  I will have e-mail Stitch Fix and ask. One thing that I noticed in this box, and it is just because I am a fan of great presentation, but usually the clothing when I open the box is nicely folded and wrapped in the tissue, but this time around the clothing came looking a little astray.  Oh well.

Bay to Baubles Nessa Love Birds on a Branch Necklace- $32

This was a cute necklace and I love gold. I also think that this would look cute with almost anything. However, I just do not need a necklace right now.  I think for my next fix I will ask for no jewelry and all clothing.

Daniel Rainn Kieraly Heart Print Short Sleeve Blouse–$68
This was just my style. I love flowy blouses. And if you know me by now, or have read any of my Stitch Fix posts before, you know I love a shirt that works well casually for weekend wear and for work. This Daniel Rainn shirt would is perfect, and it would have been something I picked out on my own if I was shopping. Great pick.

Peppermint Katarina Heart Print Dress   –$48

I do not know what it is, but I really do love heart print on shirts and dresses. I tried on  Peppermint dress in my last fix, and like this one just as much.  Again, my stylist is on a roll, a great dress to wear casually or to dress up. And, what I think was great about this dress is it was very affordable.

Under Skies Milan Lave Print Back Pleat Top–$48

In my stylist’s notes she said this was one of Stitch Fix’s best sellers. This is super cute, and I can see why it is a best seller. The only think that would have 100% sold me on the shirt was if the lace detail was black. I know, it does not make much of a difference. However, I am not much of a navy blue wearer.   It was very appealing though, and I was contemplating still whether to keep it, it did look okay with jeans.

Tulle Pascal Watercolor Rose Print Dress   –$78

I had just seen another blogger get this same dress in their fix. I think that the print was very pretty on this dress, but I just was not sure about the wrap around style of this dress on me. When I put it on I just was not comfortable with how it looked. Still a very pretty dress, just not on me.

TICKLED PINK OPINION
Again a great fix from Stitch Fix. I only kept one piece this time around, the Peppermint Katarina Heart Print Dress.  I would have kept more, but I really have been good about trying to limit myself. For my next time around I did fill out my review and notes for my next box a little more thoroughly. By no means was I unhappy with this box, but I would like more fall clothes my next time around.  I really think Stitch Fix is a good subscription if you are looking to add some new pieces to your wardrobe, that fit your style, and just do not have the time. Stitch Fix really does to a great job picking out the right pieces.  I cannot wait to see my next Stitch Fix!

    1. I know I was not the biggest fan of the wrap dress either. I just am not a fan of wrap dresses in general though.
